Are you looking for ways to get your child’s practicing started on the right foot? Try storyboards!
Storyboards are a fun, visual approach to practicing with young children. Each time they learn a new technique or a new piece, they can draw a picture or attach a photo of it on a colourful storyboard. You and your child can also write a short description of the technique or the title of the piece in the Activity section.
At practice time, your child can choose which activities to practice and lay the storyboards out in the order in which they’d like to practice them.
As each activity is completed, your child can stack, turn over, or collect the storyboards until the whole “story” of the practice has been told!
